Low maintenance and easy to care makes the Spider Plant the right choice for your home and office. It should be kept in bright indirect sunlight and watered properly. In hot temperatures, it should be watered once a week. Whereas in colder temperatures, watering should be done once every 2-3 weeks.  Spider Plants should be repotted atleast once every 2 years for a healthy growth.
Overwatering or underwatering can both cause problems for the plant. It can attract insects, mites, and pests which harm the leaves and roots of the plant. This can lead to a decline in the growth of the plant. Ribbon Plant is not considered to be toxic to pets. However, it is advised to avoid ingestion of the plant.
